Priya Kunaseelan, M.D.

Dr. Kunaseelan or Dr. K as we call her, joined the Raincross family in 2017. After completing her undergraduate degree at UCLA in Physiological Science, medical school at Ross University School of Medicine, and residency training at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center she returned to her hometown of Riverside to care for her community.  She is an alumni of Arlington High School. GO LIONS!

Dr. K enjoys her role as a family medicine physician as it provides her with the opportunity to treat patients of all ages as well as develop long-lasting relationships to see them through all stages of life. She is passionate about empowering her patients by educating them about their medical conditions and partnering with them in reaching a treatment plan.  She is a strong advocate of lifestyle medicine – focusing on physical activity, nutrition, mental wellness, and sleep as the fundamentals of health. As a cancer survivor and mother, Dr K is able to empathize and connect with her patients in a unique way.

As a Board Certified Family Medicine physician, Dr. K is well prepared to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, thyroid disorders, chronic kidney disease and much more.

In her free time, Dr K enjoys traveling to experience different cultures, entertaining family and friends, and playing tennis.
